Goodbye Summer …

IMG_6170 Number 2 _ RTP _ SFW

I maybe should have put a blue border around this image to separate the white sand in the foreground from the white background on the blog’s… I still might, but I thought that I would go ahead and post this image.   There might still be a few weeks of ” summer ” left, however you better run out and enjoy it while you can.  I call this image ” Number Two ” obviously and it is just a grab shot with an iPhone.  And yes, there is a good bit of Photoshop involved in the creation of this image plus I still might do several other things to the image.  Once winter gets here, it is going to be a while before you see old number 2  out on the beach… maybe in three months or so and then the SRIA will drag it out of storage  At least we are not up in the far north and having to look at being inside for 4 or 5 months … Thanks for looking and please check back … Frank

NOTE:  I did not take the photo above … Jenna Adams made the photo, all I did was the Photoshop work on the image.

Opryland Hotel …

leave a comment »

Here are several images I made inside the Opryland Hotel in Nashville with my iPhone.  I do not think I have pulled out my Canon on a trip in the last two months …

The first image I processed in an app that I purchased, but I cannot remember which one, maybe ” Old Photo Pro “, but I am not sure.  The bottom one, I did in Photoshop.  After using Photoshop for so long, most of these photo apps for the iPhone are useless to me … I am glad I only purchased a few of them.  The ones that are interesting are the panoramic apps, but it takes some experimenting to figure them out.  Thanks for looking …
