Mick_5x5_RTP_30 June 16 _ SFW

Mick meets Andy … at least for me anyway.  Mick and the the Stones were playing at the LA Forum back in 1970 when this was taken.  I have a Pop Art app / program that I ran the image through after I had scanned a 35mm negative  I am able to change the colors in the program … I like the dark blue background and red Mick top left and I like the yellow Mick and light blue background on the bottom right.  The two green Micks need some work and I know that I will change them.  As I always say – Life is a work in progress!  I have a series of images that I have put together and plan on letting them meet “Andy” like old Mick here, not implying that Mick is old, but you know what I mean.  Let me hear your comments and thanks for looking … Frank

Narvaez Spain with Border and Matte _ SFW

I can not remember where this photo was taken in Spain, but I want to say Malaga.  This is just one of several that I created after I cleaned up the original image … I will post some others in the near future, but I have several from CHS that I am going to post in the next few days.  Thanks for looking … Frank

UPDATE:  Several people have commented on this photo and I am going to post the original image for a comparison.  I believe that I have posted it earlier with other photos from Spain and North Africa that I made back in 1972.  Here you are …

Spain _ Narvaez _ RTP _ 10 Feb 15 _ SFW NL

Yes … I know, I know.  How can you go from this to the other?  But it is very simple and only one word – Photoshop.  Now let me say this, it took me a long time to figure out the way to do it, but if I can figure it out, you can also.  Thanks for asking and for those of you really interested, let me know and I will be happy to tell you how it is done.  Please keep your comments and questions coming … Frank

Pop Art Posters …

The poster above is of a door I photographed in Ireland and I think it was in Dingle.  I bought a program that takes images and converts them into Andy Warhol ” Pop Art “.  It takes a certain image to look good done this way and I thought that the door looked interesting and the one below of this Chinese woman that I made while she was fishing out on the Pensacola Beach Pier.

Thanks for looking and as usual, all comments are welcomed …
