South Florida Sunset …
South Florida sunset on Kodachrome back in 1977 on a trip to the Keys to go scuba diving. I have been scanning some old transparencies from my father’s file and threw in a handful of mine while I was at it. I have a lot of transparencies in file folders that I have been planning to scan, but just have not felt like taking the time to start. It is not the process of scanning, but the arraigning, sorting and cataloging of all of the scans that is so overwhelming to me. I also have been scanning 120 b&w negatives. When I started scanning 4 or 5 years ago, so many of the scans were made at a small resolution … I did not realize that I needed to scan at a higher resolution and image size to get a better file for printing. I know, I know … I should have known better, but at the time I was doing what I thought was correct. However, I will say that I learn something new every day and it is not as bad as it sounds once you get going. Thanks for looking and please check back … Frank
