Hardy Arkansas …

with 2 comments

This is going into Hardy Arkansas … not much of an image and I was at a loss at what to do.  The town is in northern Arkansas coming out of Missouri.  I did not stop and make a photo of downtown Hardy … I would guess that it is only three blocks or so long.  Filed with mostly antique stores, it looked like a place that you could spend a day wandering around exploring.  Maybe next trip … Thanks for looking …

  1. Frank, I have just finished looking at your post of your dad’s photos of Pensacola. What a great project you have undertaken. I encourage you to publish a table book or several of his early work. Many of his photos are rare and capture the history and development of the city. It would be ashame if these were lost to future Pensacolians. I would gladly purchase some prints from the collection as my family has ties to Pensacold from the 1800s. I especially like the picture of the cloud formations taken looking southeast toward the bay bridge and the photo of the fishing fleet. If you are interesting in selling prints of these two photos let me know. Also I know a printing company that would be interested in assisting with the production of the books if you so desire. I can be reached via email. Keep up the great work your father began and please continue to post both of your works on the web. Thanks for sharing. Mike Hill, Panama City, FL

    • Mike … Thank you very much for the nice comment. It has really been something fun, because I have connected / come in contact with a lot of people that I normally would have never hear from. I have heard from some very interesting people from all over the world that have been brought together strictly because of photographs that my father made 50 or 60 years ago. Thank you very much and please bookmark that site because I plan on keeping it going for years down the line … Frank
