Tennessee in 2007 …

with 2 comments

These few are from a trip we made to Tennessee back in 2007, I believe it was .  Nothing special about any of them, other than the fact that I find them interesting.   All of these were made on I-65 going into Nashville … cannot really be more specific than that since I do not do that great of job filing all of my images.  I will have to make a resolution to do a better job of identifying for 2012.

The above was taken inside the Hatch Print Shop in downtown Nashville … ran the image through Topaz and adjusted the saturation and levels. not much other than that.

Marty Stuart and a banjo player at the Ryman Auditorium.  Pam and I just stumbled on his concert and it was only $20 or so a person, so we went in.  Never was a big Marty fan, but I became one that night.   He was just as entertaining talking to the audience as he was playing and singing.  I will post some others of him later.

Side of a building in Franklin Tennessee, I believe.  I have some others that I will post from this trip in the future.

  1. Hi Frank, the banjo player is Leroy Troy (aka the Sultan of Goodlettesville).

    • Thanks Sam … This night was really enjoyable. First for the fact that we were just walking by the Ryman Auditorium and Marty Stewart was playing and the tickets were really reasonable. Second, they allowed you to take photographs. I met this guy that worked for Marty and made some photos of him and sent him a disc and he sent me CD’s that his band had produced. Thanks for commenting … Frank
