This is one of my father’s 4×5 transparencies from our trips out west to visit his sister in Los Angeles.  I did not bother to color correct this image, I thought the color cast sort of looked interesting and you see all of these photographers now days adding this “aged” effect to images they take today.  Now do not get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it and I have and use these actions myself.  The only problem I have with all these actions is that so many people take an average or below average image and try to improve it with these actions, but I did not mean to get off on that here.  Back to this image,  I have another site that I blog on about my father’s photography that normally I would post this on it, but I thought that it went along with the travel theme from my last few posts.  A link to my other blog is here
